Adios Chile. Topicos y excentricidades

Casi dos meses despues, dejamos Chile, justo a tiempo de que no nos alcance el brutal terremoto y sus replicas.

Cuantos completos y empanadas me he comido en este tiempo? Infinitos

Cuantos pisco sours? Ni idea

Mi nueva dieta en Bolivia permanece en categoria de misterio.

Lo que no aparece en las fotos de Chile es lo siguiente:

- 4.200km de costa y la mayoria de playas son “no aptas para el banyo”. Ni que decir tiene que he perdido mi moreno polinesio y me he quedado con un color “sano”.

- Su pasion por el Nescafe. Cualquier dialogo en un bar empieza por “Tienen cafe de grano?” Y 85% de de las veces la respuesta es NO.

- Por que responder “Si” o “No” si puedes decir “Si po”

- Les gusta el reggeton….sin comentarios

- Como puede haber taaantos volcanes en un solo pais?

- El sur del pais parece alemania, incluso tienen Bierfest.

Eso es todo, time to move on. Bolivia!

Sometimes good luck is at your side.

On a classic rainy irish afternoon I played an online game with Air France. I didn't even realise that you could win a prize.

A month after I received an email saying I was the lucky winner: the prize, two return tickets anywhere I wanted in the world.

So we quit our jobs, and free as a bird, we decided to go tho the middle of nowhere: island hopping in the Pacific and from there to the very south of Chile all the way up to Alaska on the American Pacific coast.

As for the return ticket, we are only using it one way. We'll find our way home in some month
